I am tempted to uninstall Outlook, re-install it and set up my email accounts again. Outlook is not involved in accessing it, just a web browser. As you say the webmail offered by bluehost is primitive compared to MS'. Longer term just switch to using 365 on both domains. Sending to other people might be problematic too if spf records were incorrect/missing.
